Brady cHoke has blown 2 games already. RichRod didn't blow that many. He just had a bad philosophy for the Big Ten

minnesota is getting harder and harder to judge. i used to think they were one of the worst teams in fbs but now i think some of that awfulness was due to concerns over the health of their coach and not the atrocious talent they were showing earlier in the seasonWebFire;959293 wrote:Yeah, usually doing that isn't smart. But Minnesota? ****, how do you lose to Minnesota? It was enough to make me think Michigan would win easily. They really haven't been impressive.
I was wrong, but it makes no damn sense.

I believe that. They gave MSU all they wanted yesterday and had a real shot at tying/winning the game.dazedconfused;959993 wrote:minnesota is getting harder and harder to judge. i used to think they were one of the worst teams in fbs but now i think some of that awfulness was due to concerns over the health of their coach and not the atrocious talent they were showing earlier in the season

With Northwestern beating Nebraska last night, it just show how crazy and unpredictable college football is.

How Ferentz has won 3-4 B1G COY awards and Tressel never won any will always baffle me. Tressel owned the B1G in his tenure at OSU, yet Ferentz is the great coach? Ferentz is the most overrated coach of all-time.Terry_Tate;959438 wrote:Lol. I was echoing dwccrew's mocking post about how everyone thinks Ferentz is such a great coach. I was hoping my statement would be so outlandish that the sarcasm was obvious, but I guess not.

It's because OSU expects to go 12-0 and play for the BCS Title Game every year. Iowa is happy if they field a team w/o anyone going Akron Student on them from being bored. So when Iowa goes 8-4 or better, the entire state gets WOOD.dwccrew;960313 wrote:How Ferentz has won 3-4 B1G COY awards and Tressel never won any will always baffle me. [h=1]Hoke seeks explanation of call that stripped UM of touchdown against Iowa[/h]
ANN ARBOR --- Michigan coach Brady Hoke believes receiver Junior Hemingway should have been awarded a touchdown catch on the final drive of Saturday's 24-16 loss at Iowa when officials --- and an ensuing video replay --- declared him out of bounds.
Hoke said Monday he thinks Hemingway came down in bounds with possession of the ball and that he hopes to get an explanation from the Big Ten on why a touchdown wasn't called. Had Hemingway scored, the Wolverines would have attempted a two-point conversion and tried to send the game into overtime. Quarterback Denard Robinson threw four straight incomplete passes at the 3-yard line to end the game.
No. 22 Michigan (7-2, 3-2) will travel to play Illinois at 3:30 p.m. Saturday

Seriously though, I wasn't surprised my any of it. I think whatever call was made on the field would have stood. Unfortunately for UM, the call was out of bounds.

QQ. I'm still shocked Michigan's defense had trouble with a team that lost to Minnesota. Aren't you?

I say QQ mostly because Hoke had 2 shots to get it in from 2 yards out and one of them was not a run.WebFire;962284 wrote:Seriously though, I wasn't surprised my any of it. I think whatever call was made on the field would have stood. Unfortunately for UM, the call was out of bounds.

Do not disagree. I especially hate the last play. They should have rolled DR to let him win with arm or leg.OneBuckeye;962315 wrote:I say QQ mostly because Hoke had 2 shots to get it in from 2 yards out and one of them was not a run.
