Well done again RR1. Interesting back in Szorady. He looks like he has a quickness to his cuts and he likes to cut back against the defenders momentum. He has speed but not extremely fast, just quick, which makes him effective. There was a serious lack of linebacker skill from the opposing teams in his youtube video though.

Kind of an odd quote from the LaBrae coach in today's Daily Record:
"All we want to do is play hard and be competitive. We have a lot of kids back next year, so this should be a real good experience."
I guess, to me, it just seems like this quote screams "We are happy just to be here, will likely lose Saturday, and will build on it for next year." But that's just me. Or do we have another 1_beast on our hands? Man, beast... how far does your rubbing off reach?!?

The link I posted the other day said the same thing essentially. They lost 3 of their last 4 and have had some key injuries....sounds like their coach is already packing it in.

Orrville should win this game but you just never know.

Boy, i wish we played tonight!! This waiting to Saturday is killing me!! :D

Does anyone expect K. Lichti to get any playing time Saturday, or are we anticipating Brenner to handle all the qb work?

I believe once you get a concussion, you must sit out the next week or until you pass the concussion test they give you. Drew will be the QB, let's hope he can build on last saturday.

My understanding is that he passed the concussion test but I believe he still has to sit out.

Rightfully so, concussions are a serious issue in football these days. No need to risk the young man's health and future.

In addition to passing the concussion test, you have to have 1 week free of symptoms (headaches, etc.)....and I think that's the hang-up, and the reason he'll sit out this week.

I saw the coaches pix and he's gotta be 70 yrs. old. He's been at a number of good programs. He's smart enough to down play how good his team is and hope to get an advantage by being overlooked. I believe we can win and think others have a tougher draw than us. The enemy is us... just don't beat yourselves.

I think Drew will be the QB for the whole playoffs, just looks like a more dynamic offense when he is in there IMO. But who ever they go with, I hope the offense can do enough because our defense has been lights out. GO RED RIDERS!!
