Holy Hell. I just read about The Serbian Film. Just reading about it makes me sick to my stomach, no way I could ever watch that.
It seems like it'd make The Human Centipede seem like a Disney movie.

I really dont have an answer other than I read about it on here about a year ago and I was curious. I didnt think Id make it past the first part, and I was able to stomach the whole thing. Granted, I didnt "watch" all the scenes.

I watched the redband trailer for A Serbian Film. If the movie didn't have the newborn stuff in it I would probably try to watch the whole thing.

"Crash" was a great flick, and apparently went way over my head.
Some curious choices in that list (although they don't really define "controversial"). I didn't realize the Da Vinci Code was so controversial. I suppose it was for what it said about the Catholic Church, but it's based on a book...I also expected Planet of the Apes (the original) to be on there as it has pretty powerful underlying social and political commentaries.
Also, I believe Braveheart was fairly controversial in Scottland. One, they didn't like that he banged and impregnated the Queen. Two, Robert the Bruce is actually the national hero, I think.

I had heard about it well before this thread. I had always wanted to watch it because of something I read somewhere (same as Cannibal Holocaust).
