I don't know if it is colt, receivers or the playcalling. Just a total clusterfuck.

May have been mentioned but I'm starting to think that Shurmur is more arrogant than Mangini.

I like arrogance, but it doesn't work if you call a game like you are suffering from downs syndrome

The past 2 seasons we have seen the same exact thing happen!
2010 Heckert signs DL jaime mitchell and Mangini refused to play him.
2011 Heckert gives evan moore a nice contract and Shurmur refuses to play/use him.

I don't mind it if you are winning... but when you are a big part of losing every single week and won't take responsibility for the horrible play calling, there is no room for arrogance.BR1986FB;951434 wrote:May have been mentioned but I'm starting to think that Shurmur is more arrogant than Mangini.

I'd say "Suck for luck" but it seems Miami and the Colts are better at sucking than us.

Reghi still trying to dance around the calling out of Shurmur and his play calling abilities.

I have been commenting on his arrogance for weeks now.BR1986FB;951434 wrote:May have been mentioned but I'm starting to think that Shurmur is more arrogant than Mangini.
He thinks because his uncle was a good defensive coordinator that some how his shit doesn't smell.
Holmgren unfortunately created this monster by giving the keys to the kingdom to a guy who is really nothing more than a competent position coach in the NFL. When he has run an offense, they are consistently in the bottom 20% of the league.
I don't know what it is about the guy, but I just can't stand him.
7 weeks of putrid offense and he still doesn't seem to think anything is wrong. Why would he though, Holmgren thinks he walks on water and without any pressure on him to improve he can keep going along doing what he is doing.

I am disgusted with Reghi. He used to lampoon this team when they were pathetic when he was doing Browns react last year. Now that he is on STO he is swinging from Shurmur's jock. It is embarrassing.OQB;951443 wrote:Reghi still trying to dance around the calling out of Shurmur and his play calling abilities.

Might have already been said, but this offense should run the two minute drill all the time.

I'll agree the play calling was crap, for the most part. You can't continue to run into the middle of the line on first down and expect an offense to surprise the defense when it has second and long, and then tries to pass the ball.
Having said that, there isn't a QB in the league who could win behind this OL and with the "skilled" players the Browns have at WR and RB, especially what was available for this game.
On the play where Colt fumbled deep in their own territory in the first quarter: I did a count from the snap and got to "one thousand two" when McCoy was mashed from two sides and lost the ball. No human being playing QB can get the ball, take a three step drop and pass in less than three seconds.
The OL play this season has been putrid; perhaps the worst I've seen from this franchise in a few years, and that's saying something.

Hillis is out. Hardesty goes down. Throw in a side of horrible play calling. And it's a Browns loss.
