Wisky coming off a big time emotional game that they lost in an epic way. Ohio State coming off the bye week, hurt players had an extra week to heal. Who wins?

Before last nights game I wouldn't have given the Bucks much of a chance against Wisky who had looked fairly dominant up to that point. By halftime my opinion had changed, though a lot of things need to go right for the Bucks to win they indeed have a chance.

Last nights game was very balanced for both teams, passing, running, TOP...OSU will NOT have a chance if we go into it thinking we can complete one pass of four attempts as our offensive "gameplan". Fickell better realize this and ensure Bollman has in place a few plays that can be completed with a green QB...slants, screens, TE over the middle...something besides a five step drop surveying the field and reading through progressions. Miller needs completions to build confidence.

Defensively I think we'll be fine. MSU gave up a lot on the ground, I'm hoping we can cut their productivity in half or so and limit them to a buck fiddy or so forcing Wilson to throw and create a couple turnovers.

The Badgers will be pissed but the game's in our house on primetime, hope this helps.

Alot closer than people think and the Buckeyes dont stink. This bye week will have helped the Buckeyes in a big way. Bucks by 4.

There is absolutely no reason to think OSU stands a good chance in this game given the actual (and not wishful) performance of the offense up to this point.

That being said, the return of Boom and Mike Adams have significantly enhanced our ability to control the clock and that's what we'll need to do to beat Wisco.

Hoping for a big win next Saturday in the 'Shoe.

I love your guy's optimism, but I can't believe the team I have watched play 7 games this season will beat Wisconsin. A mobile qb in Martinez at Nebraska was shredding us up in the last quarter and a half. What do you think a mobile QB like Wilson, and that can actually pass the ball, will do? I'd like to think OSU will win, but if I were to bet, I'd take Wisky.

Just going by comparative games played gives me some optimism, let's face it, the Bucks could have won the MSU game had we been able to do a very few things a little better. If I'm betting I'm taking Wisky straight up, what's the opening line? Wisky by 9 1/2? That would be my guess.

I don't know the opening line yet. I mean, you could say the same about Wisky, they could've beaten MSU at MSU at night. OSU lost at home to MSU. I try not to use comparitive opponents. In theory, OSU COULD be unbeaten. I think OSU is a better team than Miami. MSU and Nebraska were winnable games as well, however, the coaching for OSU is so horrific that it is going to be tough to beat the most talented team in the conference next Saturday. I hope you are right in your optimism though. Go Bucks!

Don't confuse my appearance of optimism with any thing resembling confidence that the coaching staff will somehow dial up a cognitive offensive gameplan, I certainly do not. I am hoping that the time off has allowed them to prepare better and come up with something more creative than running off tackle on first down.

We can only hope. I wish we'd use our TE's more, throw a screen and a slant in there. But it is Bollman and Fickell we're talking about.

This quote by lep is what scares me as far as the mindset of the coaching staff. If they believe this to be their best shot then we are not going to have a rats ass of a chance. What does Wisky have to go on film wise going into the game? Be ready for the run. Period. If Fickell/Bollman don't form SOME semblance of a passing game we're going to get destroyed.

This will be ugly, I just want to see some improvement in the offense and a couple of stops or maybe turnovers by the defense and I will be happy.

This. I'm just hoping the Buckeyes make a game of it and not get blown off the map. Despite getting Herron and Adams back, just about the only hope the Buckeyes have of winning is if the defense can come up with a couple of scores.

If Bollman oversleeps, we have a shot. Otherwise, Wisconsin by 10-13 points. Obviously hoping for the big upset, hope the OSU students represent and create a loud environment to help our chances.

I don't know if it will be that big of a blowout. You are definitely more of a doom and gloom Buckeye fan than most. I think at worst, OSU loses by 14-17, not 25.

Unlike Michigan State, who could keep up in that classic Big Ten slugfest, I don't think the Buckeyes will be able to respond nearly as well to Wisconsin scores.

Wisconsin wins along the lines of 34-9.

When Ohio State played Illinois, I predicted at kickoff that Ohio State would lose 27-17 and we ended up winning 17-7. Hopefully they prove me wrong in a similar matter, because I see Ohio State losing 31-10 to Wisconsin.

If OSU could somehow pull out the win, they could make a run at the B1G title game. However its a big "IF".

Night road games are a bitch. That's basically the only reason I see OSU having a chance. Not expecting a win, but I think the Bucks can hang.

I'll go 27-17 Wisconsin.

Have tickets for this game..with it being a night game and homecoming I'm hoping we keep it close. But a pissed off Wisconsin will be really hard to beat. 28-13

We'll need a wide-open, creative game plan to hang with the Badgers. That includes a few tricks as well. Defensively I don't see us getting the pounding that others predict. The defensive line will dictate this game. If they hang tough we will do well. If Wisky's O-line dominates the line of scrimmage all bets are off.

Wisconsin has the QB and weapons on offense to do whatever they want on any down they choose, the Buckeyes do not have the same set of offensive weapons. However, I do think that OSU's defense is a lot better than Wisconsins defense. Wisconsin will be pissed but also could be a little down because their NC dreams are pretty much over so let's hope for a hangover by Wisconsin, great defense by the Bucks and maybe the game stays tight into the 4th Quarter and OSU can get lucky at the end. I know that's a lot to hope for but what else do we have? OSU 24 Wisconsin 21 (My hope ) I really think Wisconsin will win 28-17.
