No...they drop to 3rd after tonight, but can jump back to 2nd with a win next week.

Region 13 is real weak. Girard might be the best team and Orrville plays the toughest schedule.

Didn't go to the game and went to Smithville -Norwayne. How did we look? Did Drew play q-back any?

Yep , he did have 2 intercepted in the end zone, looked okay running but not so good at passing. Lichti with 1 int.
Monheim ran well in the 2nd half and had almost all the yards on the td drive.

Win is a Win but not sure how the next few weeks will pan out. Our offense struggles and isn't able to sustain any long drives that allows the team to have momentum. All of these 3 and outs or 3rd and 4 and throw the ball a country mile just isn't going to get it...Hopefully the staff can put a solid game plan together for Wooster, there is no doubt that Wooster will spread us out and throw the ball like Ashland did to us and unless something changes by next week we might be looking at our first loss to Wooster in 7 seasons. True Wooster isn't all that this year but one thing for sure is they put the points on the board scoring at least 3 TD's in every game.

just goes to show that change isn't always the answer.

Looks like 2nd level points will decide 2nd and 3rd next week as the 1st level wiil put us almost even with Norwayne and then we need our teams to help us out

Girard the best team? Don't know that much about Girard, but they beat Manchester and lost to Campbell. I don't think were quaking in our boots, but respect all and fear none.

"We're scuffling on offense," said Davault, who also serves as the offensive coordinator. "The coaches have to come up with a better game plan. We had guys that were open and we couldn't connect. That's unacceptable and we have to fix that.

"It's nice to have it not working and still be 6-3," said Davault. <<<Is that because Orrville has such a "tough" schedule?

Has nothing to do with the schedule. We just cant seem to figure things out like other teams do. THe best team we have played all year was and still is Northwest and we didnt have these problems then. The reason is teams hadnt honed in on Mason running the ball yet. The last 3 games they have and now we have not adjusted to do something different. Bringing Drew in was nice but we still have to come up with some plays to get people the ball.
