Apologies if this photo was posted before, but I had not seen it until today, it's a few weeks old. Wonder what Urban Meyer and Gene Smith were discussing ...

Hopefully Urban was giving tips on being a better liar and covering up violations.

No reason to be a fly on the wall when you could just ask the 3rd person that is clearly in the room.

Unless he's deaf. That that would be a terribly stupid course of action.

Is Urban Meyer playing pocket pinball? Looks like there is hole in his pocket, his fly is open and he is juggling his junk. Must be talking about something quite exciting ...

I'm guessing it went something like this.

Gene: "I have a blank check in my pocket. I'm going to give it to you and when you fill it out I can announce you as coach. Can you please do so before the bowl season so the recruits can hear ESPN talk about you taking the job the entire bowl season"

For some reason, I can't see the picture, but Gibbys name being dropped sure explains the previously mentioned, "hole in pocket & fly being open".

I received this text about 5 hours ago and decided not to post it, but since it was brought up....
a seldom heard from---but incredibly accurate and connected source---- that I call the "Fourth Wiseman of OSU football" called last night...

he predicted that Urban Meyer would be announced as the head coach of the OSU football team at halftime of the OSU/Duke basketball game......

and he wasn't kidding.....or guessing......

take it FWIW.....

The above text was reported by an insider on the OSU scout site. He got the call and posted information. The guy is as reliable as they come, but even he would admit its just a prediction from an incredibly connected person and not gospel. A million things could happen between now and then that would change it. Nobody knows, not even Gene Smith or Urban Meyer.

Could Coach K and Urban's egos fit in the same building? Talk about a collection of ass hats.

Yes, but someone with a lofty opinion of himself may be exactly what it takes to thrive in such a lofty college football coaching position. Would rather have a prepared, sharp coach who loves himself than a coach who is clearly in over his head, despite his generally-accepted status as a "good guy."
