We will drop to 7th this week. Springfield Local will occupy the fourth spot followed by Garaway, Cuyahoga Heights, Campbell Memorial, Columbiana, Southern Local. I have not seen a Barnesville score so even with these early projections, the best that we can be at is the 7th spot. Struthers game is huge!

Congrats on the win Red Devils. It is one thing to win a championship. It is another to defend it. Good Job. But, the job isn't finished yet. I would expect HC Asher to come out with nothing to lose.

On a side note, our special teams play needs to improve. The onside kicks, the bad holds on PATs needs to be worked on.

If they make the playoffs, special teams may be their downfall! The special teams coordinator needs to go to a coaching clinic! Terrible!!

Campbell would be lucky to win 2 games with Ursulines schedule, and all the other games Like Mooney Eds Mentor MLC SVTM RedLion Steubenville would be a complete blowout be lucky to get one score, so its techinically not bull that they get in because i dont see any school in this area besides Mooney stepping up to play them. If they played Campbells schedule they would not have even had a scare this year.

Since Ursuline is that great, they need to play in the Division 1 playoffs instead of playing Division 5 teams. It is a joke, that they can go 4-6 and win the Division 5 Championship every year. You do not need to brag.It nice to be able to recruit from all over and to give vouchers to go to Ursuline.

and its really not stepping up...the main reason public schools stopped playing the privates is because they would recruit our kids at the lower levels. campbell would always play ursuline in basketball...until terrance graves got recruited as a freshman the a.d. said no more. its a breeding ground for recruitment. come on dont play stupid.

ohio, 1st you are on brookfields bandwagon, then struthers, now ursuline. i don't see your two schools stepping up to play uhs. why should campbell schedule uhs, especially with the "athletes" we "lost" to them over the years, not going to happen.

I played sports for Brookfield because thats where i grew up and went to school at Moved to Struthers and am i Wildcat fan.... As for Ursuline i just stated facts no need to get so mad about it, you just need to realize it's true, but think whatever you want doesn't bother me one bit

Timmy Mackey is the 8th grade QB... I'm not sure who the 7th grade QB is either...

Mackey played with the 8th grade last year... my guess is, that's who you're referring to.

Yemma was the QB to start the season, last year... but he was moved to TE, and Mackey played QB.

The devils are playing there best Defense in many many years. Also people just dont get how actually dangerous this Campbell team is. But i cant wait to see what Gary Zetts comes up with in his little bag of trickery.. Every year for as far back as the 89 game he has always had the one or two plays that result in a touchdown. Campbell need to treat this as round one of the 2011 state playoffs. cause with a loss there is a very good chance there going home. cause there not going to get a lot of help by the teams they beat. I feel confident in only two possibly three teams getting a win.

I mean i guess it was worded in a bad way but if you look at it, its a plain mismatch for every d5 team not just campbell its a mismatch for every team in the area besides with Mooney
