If UConn loses, what is that, five losses before February? A pretty big disappointment for what was, by some experts' accounts, the preseason #1 team in the country. Obviously, suspensions and such have hurt them a bit, but, then again, Jim Calhoun is about as clean as HIV, so too bad.

So Notre Dame did win. Wow, Mike Brey doing one hell of a job in South Bend, especially after losing his best shooter right before the season began.

Notre dame with another big win vs uconn. There starting to look like a tournament team. I thought this team would be absolutely terrible after the Missouri and gonzaga games

With wins at ranked Louisville, at ranked UConn and against then #1 and undefeated Syracuse, and barring complete disaster, Notre Dame is in the NCAAs. No question.

LSU's front line is top half of the SEC.

Thing about Jones, is he's actually having a better year this year given the talent around him AND everything else he's doing. He's become a reliable ball-handler, shot blocker and passer. His scoring is down and rebounding is slightly down. He did have an absolutely brutal stretch after the UNC game for about 2 weeks, and had the dislocated finger, which let it linger another 2 weeks.

He was a victim of being the first Calipari stud to return to school, he got all the pre-season accolades of being on possibly the best team and he was the most talked about. Truth is though, with the arrival of Gilchrist and Davis, and the abilities of really all 6 starters (all average double figures in scoring), it's tough for him to live up to that hype.

CBF(I think) shared this link on the OSU/UM thread about Craft/Burke, and I was wondering where Tyshawn Taylor was. Agreed that he should be a finalist?

Taylor is playing well now, the last 8/9 games. Which is why KU is playing well now. Prior to that, he was a walking turnover.

Notre Dame will make the tourny, but they will pull a Notre Dame and lose to any good team they play. This is been how Notre Dame plays in both sports for the past 20-30 years, they still are looking for their 1st big win in that timeframe.
