What did I say that was trolling in the slightest?
I'm just not a homer and am realistic. It's hard to compliment too many Buckyes when they have looked so bad as a team.

Good: Jordan Hall, Carlos Hyde, Jake Stoneburner, Simon, Hankins, Buchanan
Bad: Bauserman, Shugarts, Klein, Moeller, Bollman / Siciliano

I don't think Shugarts has been horrible except for getting the damn snap count right.

Shugarts has been okay, but it's beyond me why he has a false start every single game.
Modeler played better against Nebraska, but he's been nonexistent this year. Hard to have high expectations though.

a decent amount of players have played well, can't blame the team for bauserman, and fickells playcalling/lack of coaching ability. You are negative in the worst way, not a realist. A realist would see that a lot of the players have done well, not criticize the whole team over a few bad eggs. artard.thedynasty1998;933694 wrote:What did I say that was trolling in the slightest?

bauserman had nothing to do with giving up 28 points in a quarter and a half to a run heavy team. Time to find a new "out".DeyDurkie5;934109 wrote:a decent amount of players have played well, can't blame the team for bauserman, and fickells playcalling/lack of coaching ability. that was a great offense run by him to keep the defense off the field:rolleyes:. You guys can criticize the defense all you want, but when they had an offense in the first half, they did a great job of keeping nebraska in check. In the second half, you saw 3 and outs left and right and a tired defense trying to stop nebraska. You can blame the defense all you want, but in my eyes a poor offense in the second half tired out our stout defense. Causing them to break.

Looks to me the offense was on the field just as much as the defense. If these guys cant play 30 minutes without getting tired, there is something wrong. The offense scored 27 points, with one of the "best" defenses in the country, that should be enough to win 99% of games. Blaming the offense for the defense's struggles is just another cop out.

that number is skewed. do you not know how to have an argument? you are pulling information that,if you watched the game, would know was skewed for each half. We dominated the first half offensively, which helped the defense make adjustments/get rested. second half, our offense was attrocious, and our defense suffered for it. It's not a cop out, you are blaming the defense, wwhich is a copout. Watch the game again, and quit blaming the defense, ya jackassPick6;934130 wrote:Time of possession:

if you watched the game, you could see the swing. Defense couldn't stop them, offense couldn't score any points. To blame the defense is just as retarded as blaming the offense is what i'm saying.karen lotz;934133 wrote:Nebraska's drives in the second half:

What is the point in arguing who played worse in the loss?
It was a TOTAL TEAM collapse from top to bottom. Coaches, offense and defense. Bauserman's pathetic play definitely contributed to that meltdown. Also, don't forget Bollman's genius playcalling when JB got in.
Sure the D was getting gashed, but where were the adjustments?

OSU answered Nebraska's 7 play scoring drive with a 7 play drive of their own that was the longest drive (prior to the last drive) of the second half time wise plus it included the break between the 3rd and 4th quarters.

I'm not blaming either side. I'm saying that the "defense was tired" excuse makes no sense if you actually watched the game and look at how it played out. The defense might have suffered an emotional let down when Miller got hurt, but that is partly their fault as well. They still held a 2 touchdown lead at that point and were plenty fresh.

if you watched the game, you saw the shift. I agree with auto, the coahces are more to blame than anything for the terrible adjustments. Also, you are a *** lotz. Of your 17,000 posts(which in itself is mind boggling), are 12,000 of those on osu threads?karen lotz;934140 wrote:OSU answered Nebraska's 7 play scoring drive with a 7 play drive of their own that was the longest drive (prior to the last drive) of the second half time wise plus it included the break between the 3rd and 4th quarters.

I did watch the game. Again, I'm saying the shift wasn't the result of being tired, that is just a weak excuse.

Yeah the "shift" was the result of playing like absolute shit and not being able to stop them, along with having incompetent coaches and our #1 QB on the sidelines.

I watched the fucking game. I dont see where I said there wasnt a "swing" in momentum. You are blaming Bauserman for the defenses mistakes. And saying the defense was tired because of Bauserman. THE DEFENSE WAS ON THE FIELD JUST AS MUCH AS THE OFFENSE. Get a fucking clue.DeyDurkie5;934135 wrote:if you watched the game, you could see the swing. And lol at calling this defense "stout". This is one of the worst defenses we have had in sometime minus the secondary.

The one Nebraska drive that you have as starting on their 23 really started on OSU's 23, didn't it? Since you have them scoring in two plays covering 24 yards. To me, that was the beginning of things. Nebraska scoring on a short field starting to change the momentum. Then, when Miller went down on their next drive and Cap'n Accuracy came in, that was a huge swing. And Cap'n Accuracy being unable to move the ball (nearly half of that 7/32 drive was a penalty on the Huskers; he was 1-4, 13 yards) just added to it.karen lotz;934133 wrote:Nebraska's drives in the second half:

A combination of a mistake by Miller (the fumble), an inept injury replacement (Bauserman), a younger-than-usual team getting down and a coaching staff unable to do anything to pull them up. It's not all on Cap'n Accuracy, but when a guy comes in to help maintain a lead and goes 1-10 with a pick, that's just sad. Looking at the box score, Miller had a 203.5 rating while he was in. For Nebraska, Martinez was at 166.6. Bauserman was at 0.9. I didn't even know college QB ratings went that low. ZERO-POINT-FUCKING-NINE! That was my fucking GPA halfway through my first quarter at Ohio U.
