So Lebron James tweets John Clayton about NFL Free Agency deadline. "@ClaytonESPN When is the deadline for a team to sign a free agent?"
My question, to Cleveland fans, is...if he were to say "I want to play in the NFL but I'll only play for the Cleveland Browns", is all forgiven? I know this is unlikely since he's a Cowboys fan but let's play devil's advocate. Is all forgiven?
After all, nobody REALLY gives a shit about the NBA anyway.

I already dont really care much anymore that he left so if he comes too the Browns and becomes a pro bowl player then yes i would love him again. Of course this has a 0% chance of happening though.

Eh I'd rather avoid the circus and let him go somewhere else.

Why would the Browns sign a guy who can only play 3 quarters?

Haha..that's about 3 quarters more than Shurmur is getting from some of these clowns (Robiskie).Skyhook79;931130 wrote:Why would the Browns sign a guy who can only play 3 quarters?
But seriously, imagine the mismatches he'd create? 6'8" & 260 lbs and runs like a deer. Jump balls in the end zone would be impossible to defend. Imagine pairing him with Megatron, Pettigrew & Stafford in Detroit?

Who would sign him? I think the first safety to clean his clock would be the end of his football career. Just because you were good in high school, doesn't mean you can do it in the pros.
He hasn't had collision contact in ten years. NFL doesn't hit in practice anymore...this has bad idea written all over it.
Go to Europe with Kobe and learn how to win.

I'm imaging him tearing his ACL in detroit. That the same thing?BR1986FB;931140 wrote:Haha..that's about 3 quarters more than Shurmur is getting from some of these clowns (Robiskie).

I think he could become a very good TE, but it would take time. He would need a full offseason of OTA's, training camp, preseason games, etc, before he would really be any time of force.
With a strict 53 man roster, and only 45 on game day, I dont think alot of teams would jump at signing him in season.

I respect your opinion but a lot of people do, me included. Basketball is the greatest sport in the world, football may be the best to watch though.BR1986FB;931065 wrote:So Lebron James tweets John Clayton about NFL Free Agency deadline. I'd enjoy watching lebron take a helmet to helmet hit over the middle that knocks him unconscious.
Also, who says he can catch, let alone run a decent route.

Some team would take a chance on him just to sell tickets. On paper he looks like he would be unstoppable, but as it's been said he would need a full offseason and camp to learn a position.

Would love to see him play for the dolphins. I'm confident Matt Moore can get him injured.

Please God somehow allow this Overblown Doosh to play in the NFL so somebody could legally kill him.

Lebron James would be worth signing even if he only played in the red zone and ran fades only at home games. And, like the prodigal son, should Lebron return to Cleveland for such a stint I would forgive him. I think he is trolling though.

If he wanted to play in the NFL, he should have made the decision before Al Davis passed away. Al would have signed him.

Yep. As for the NFL, it's too fun watching him lose with the Heat at this point. I think he should stick to doing that.Al Bundy;931249 wrote:If he wanted to play in the NFL, he should have made the decision before Al Davis passed away. Al would have signed him.

Interesting point, I am not sure if he would or wouldn't have to go through the draft. I don't think he would. He simply a free agent now. He is years past his class graduating.
