For the third straight year IU star Creek suffers a severe injury. He tore his achilles and they are not saying how long he will be out.

I am thinking it has to be pretty much the whole season.


Wow. What bad luck for an IU team trying to get back to glory.

Wasn't counting on him at all to be honest. 2 knee surgeries will do that, though I guess he was 100% healthy off them and had a better vertical and strength since this rehab. But as is the case when stuff isnt used, the Achilles was weaker. He is out for the year btw.

I feel horrible for him, but it doesnt really change anything regarding the team as a whole. Hell, IU needs the scholarships...maybe if his career is over we will get it starting next season!

I doubt he woulda stuck around this long if he hadnt gotten hurt, but if he had, and was still healthy, that kid would been able to really contribute and be a force.

Just seems to be snakebit.
