Can it get here already! With the way football season is going I'm ready for the basketball team to hit the hardwood.
How many times a game will the announcers bring up all the crap going on with the football team?

Go Bucks!!!!!

I have cautious optimism for the Bucks, but not having LaQuinton Ross for at least a few months is huge. I also don't know who's going to shoot 3's on this team. Other than that, Sully and co. should be poised to have another great season. Go Bucks!

I expect Craft, Buford, Sibert, and Thomas to shoot pretty well from deep.

Of all sports and all teams, OSU basketball has developed into my favorite. Can't wait to watch Sully, Buford, Craft and whoever else steps up this year.

I'm looking forward to the season as well. Can't wait to see the freshman and watch their development. I've been hearing/reading about them for so long it will be nice to finally see them in action.

I don't know much about Thompson other that what I've seen from youtube highlights and he is definitely a high flyer. With all the youth we're going to have I'm wondering if he will see much time. Maybe take minutes from Sibert?

JD Weatherspoon from Northland. Was academically ineligible for parts of last year, but should be back and ready to play this year.

It will be remarkable if Ross can make it back in time for the bulk of the Big Ten season. It would be huge for this team if that happens.

As for outside shooting: let's face it, there isn't going to be anyone hitting from 50 percent, in all likelihood. We were spoiled rotten with Diebler's shooting last season.

Craft
Buford
Thomas
Sullinger
And most likely Scott or Williams. Depends on what Matta wants or who is more ready to play as a freshman.

I would say Williams will be starting in the post. Scott off the bench then moving Craft to the two position. Its great we don't have to worry about a real PG. Had a few years there after Conley left that was tough. Looking very forward to this season! Should be fun. This is will be Matta most athletic team he has had overall. Lets hope all the young guys buy into things defensively. That is the key to this team. Last years team was very good defensively and IMO, that was what made them what they were. Should be fun!

Easily the best team in the B1G on paper. As usual you have to watch for what Wisky might do and MSU in a bounce back year. But I dont see anyone taking the title from OSU this season.

The Big Ten is also going to be pretty weak this year.

2 horse race IMO with Wisky and OSU. Maybe MSU will make a push.

I also think Michigan will be decent.

Big Ten lost a lot of very good players from last season. These things cycle. There will be a lot of very good (but young) players taking their place. If people stick around, the conference, as a whole, will be a monster if a few seasons.

Buford is a good 3 point shooter. Craft will be much improved.

Not just on paper. They will dominate the Big 10. Just too good.

Saw on 11W that Sully is down to 268 from 296. He gave up eating at 5 guys all the time to do it...

That's hilarious, if true.

I personally felt that he should have added weight. Will be interesting to see the more versatile Sullinger.

It would have been tough for Sullinger to add weight. He wasn't necessarily jacked. He could be stronger and in better overall shape even at 270. That's gonna be the maximum he could play in the NBA at. He's not playing in the NBA at 6'7 or 6'8, 300 lbs.
