If you don't want to technically label him a 5, that's fine. But he has always been the Spurs player that controlled the paint and was the biggest player on the floor for them.

I'm not questioning his ability, just never understood the classification of Duncan as a PF more so than a C.

Back to Sullinger. The two guys mentioned before we're Horford and Love, both all star caliber CENTERS. That is exactly why I think Sullinger should focus on that position. He could be a top center within a few years. And yes, he could still potentially guard a PF.

That's basically what I'm saying. He was a traditional PF of the 70's and 80's. But the game has evolved. What used to be a SF is now a PF (Rashard Lewis). And who someone guards and where they play on the floor is exactly what defines their position.
