Thoughts?

Jacksonville is not good but since their inception it seems like they have always played the Steelers tough.

A must win for Pittsburgh, gotta pile up some wins and especially versus AFC teams.

Always struggle against the jags. However this year they are in complete disrepair. Today it looked like the Steelers finally found the right mix.

Steelers win this one

The way this year's been, I'm not making any set-in-stone predictions. I will say that for them to be a contender, this is a game they need to win, preferably decisively.

If it was in Jax I would give them about a 15% chance of beating the steelers.

Only way the steelers lose is if they absolutely give the game away (like they did to Houston I think a number of years ago).

No reason why the steelers should get beat in this one at homel

Jacksonville beat Tennesee who beat Baltimore who beat Pittsburgh.

So you never know.

Steelers are sitting in a pretty good position right now at 3-2. They need to go into the New England and Baltimore games at 5-2 so definitely can't have a slip up against either Jacksonville or Arizona.

Steelers will take it. Jacksonville has been competitive. But last week, with 20 pts, is their season high. 14-3-10-10-20, their 5 game output.

Jax has won 4 out their last 5 in Pittsburgh and is 3-0 in Heinz Field, but I see the Steelers by about 14 here.

And I was at two of them, the OT pick that Maddox tossed and the playoff loss a few years ago.

Heard an interesting stat from Stan Savran after Sunday's game.

The Steelers are 16-1 in games that Chris Hoke has started in his career.

Leave Hoke in. Hampton has turned into a twat with all of his worrying about being cut blocked. You're in the NFL, it happens, deal with it. At least Hoke is not a pussy about it.

James Harrison will probably miss 4 games with the eye injury. If Woodley can get to Gabbert the way he got to Hasselgoat last game.....I REALLY like the Steelers' chances. Steelers SHOULD win this game. I liked what I saw out of Max Starks last week too.

No doubt. I rmember while tailgating my buddy said something and he was dead on. The atmosphere of the fans seemed so different. It was like we didnt expect to win and that is something that rarely happens to steelers fans, especially while tailgating and such!

Hampton has overstayed his welcome. NT take a beating in the 3-4, and most have to stay HUGE to be able to withstand the double teams, and therefore leads to short spurts of being successful.

Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians confirmed Monday that Starks, who played all but two snaps against the Titans, will remain the starter for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Heinz Field.

When Gilbert hurt his shoulder, Tomlin turned to Starks, who had been working out six days a week at Performance Enhancement Professionals, a high-tech gym in Scottsdale, Ariz., frequented by Ryan Clark, James Harrison and other Steelers players.

I wouldlike to see a little more Cam Heyword in the game this week. He had some nice reps last week, keep developing him.

Getting set to head down to the 'Burgh.

Steelers coming off by far their most complete effort of the season.

Will that play continue?

I don't like putting too much into one week but I think that one game really got this team on track.

We'll see.

Mendenhall with a 68 yard burst to the 3 yard line but Arians then hands the ball off to him on the next play! Then predictable...had to take a FG
