Bauserman is like a poison to that team. When he came in, it not only effected the offense but the defense as well. Both sides of the ball see him come in and it's that "oh shit, we're fucked" kind of feeling.

some of these dumbasses have a hard time understanding that. they'd rather take the easy way out and blame bauserman

I think not only does the defense deserve blame, but MOST of the blame lies on the shoulders of the coaches. I mean wtf? You have to get your troops rallied. And since there is no season long captains, there is no peer leadership to look to for this very young team. The coaches are screwing this season for the players. This team is MUCH better than a 3-3 record, but the results of this season will show just how important good coaching is (hell even mediocore coaching would give this team a 5-1 record right now).

I truly believe Ohio State has more talent than the 3 teams that have beaten them. With better coaching Ohio State COULD have beaten Miami, MSU and Nebraska. Now I am not delusional and believe OSU would go unbeaten or anything like that, but I think they have the ability to be unbeaten up to this point of the season if the coaches could have the team playing like they did the first 2.5 quarters of the Nebraska game. But with this staff, we'll be lucky to be bowl eligible.

How dare people blame the QB who went 1-10 and led to offense to 39 total yards, 2 first downs, 3 punts, and an INT in his 4 full possessions in?

You know there is absolutely no defense left for a player when the best argument remaining is "he wasn't the main reason we lost". Believe it or not, the defense sucking doesn't make Bauserman's play any better. It still sucked.

Im not saying Bauserman didnt suck. I know he is terrible. Fact is the defense gave up 28 points to a run heavy team in a quarter and a half. That is terrible, especially if we are supposed to have one of the "best" defenses in the country.

Okay, I know this chart is funny and all, but in all seriousness... did anyone seriously catch the pass that Bauserman threw out-of-bounds that seriously went behind the team's benches and almost hit the wall barricading the 1st row?

I know above we're poking fun and exaggerating, but that one was was no exaggeration at all. Anyone else know which one I'm talking about?

This.

Also why I've been so "harsh" on the linebacking core this season. They really are abysmal. I can't tell you how many times I saw Sabino trailing the play.

I noticed this as well...he takes bad angles, and is not fast enough to recover to make the play--I'd like to see Shazier get more PT

Would LOVE to see Shazier get more PT. The kid looks like a stud on special teams. Who knows how well that will translate, however, to regular defense. But he does seem to fly to the ball pretty good.

Sabino is just a poor man's Marcus Freeman.
