Les Miles just punked Florida with a sweet fake punt TD, and they brought it back because of taunting before the kicker crossed the goal line. What a stupid rule and a terrible call.

He extended his arms out a little bit. That is not taunting. I hate Les, but my is he ballsy.tk421;926446 wrote:Les Miles just punked Florida with a sweet fake punt TD and they brought it back because of taunting before the kicker crossed the goal line. What a stupid rule and an idiotic mistake.

Yeah, I edited my post. It was a terrible call. Hate that new rule.

That is the dumbest fucking rule. It had no impact on the result of the play, and so there is no reason the play should not stand as a TD.

Another reason these schools should leave the NCAA. The organization is a total joke

LSU is ridiculously good. I can't wait to watch them vs. Alabama.
Also, OSU should consider the LSU defensive coordinator, and I have no idea who it is.

So, did I hear that right? That wasn't a called fake punt, the kid saw Florida wasn't rushing and just took off? Wow, ballsy.

Haha didn't that happen in the NFL recently and the punter got tackled like 8 yards short?

DeShawn Wynn was the last full load RB Florida had...but to be honest, in the Meyer years, especially with Tebow, they didn't need one. They could get away with the smallish RB's and hybrid players like Harvin, Demps, Burton, etc...

I can't believe they called unsportsmanlike on the punter earlier in the game. What a dumb rule

John Chavis, came from Tenn Vols after LSU's horrible defense in 2008 I believe.thedynasty1998;926457 wrote:LSU is ridiculously good. I can't wait to watch them vs. Alabama.

Wasn't Percy Harvin a RB at Florida? But not really.

When the first punt happened (before the illegal formation) , I saw all of UF's players run before he even kicked it. That was a good idea to do the fake on the 2nd try. They all started running away again. UF is short some key players, so you really cant base anything from this game.

LSU is tough. They'll be in the mix until the end, but I wonder about their offense. I love watching them play defense though

Because it's against Florida and this game is a laugher. Gives Verne and Gary another reason to mention The Chosen One's name.

Using a old UF play vs UF.
LSU looked great in the 1st half, but went too conservative the 2nd half. They need to air it out more. It works. I think they are afraid to, but they have only thrown one int all year. Airing it out is how they beat Bama last year, and this year they wont be able to do the run game against them.
