sure, he was kind of crazy in his later years, but dude was one of the most-forward thinking persons in the history of the nfl. rip to a legend of the game

Every single college wide receiver with blazing speed, but poor route running and hands, is now in mourning, as their draft stock has just plummeted because someone finally figured that you have to shoot zombies in the head.

Along those lines, TP is thanking his lucky stars that Davis hung on for a few more months.

Sad that he passed away. Even more sad is how he kind of went off the deep end in his latter years of owning the team. I remember as a kid Al Davis was probably the most respected owner in the league. He put some talented teams together by picking up the scraps other teams had discarded. He always had a knack for finding that diamond in the rough and turning him into a legit NFL player.

One of the reasons the NFL is where it is at currently is Al Davis. He was the guy everyone loved to hate, and cheirshed that role.

Sad day for the Raider Nation and the NFL in general.
