I think we've seen time and time again how movies/TVs can fuck up book series. I've never read this one before, but it seems like they are staying true to the original by those of you that have read it.

I'm hoping somehow when we meet the Governor's group that Darrell's brother is a part of them. I've been awaiting his real return for a season and a half.

Tdog just said "the governor just pardoned you" talking about Randy, is that in reference to the novel plot?

Spoke too soon, come on Shane come back and take out Carl!

This puts a twist on how to become a zombie, and why all of a sudden is there hundreds of walkers within earshot, but they dont just happen to walk by, but they hear a gunshot!

So again with the "no bite marks". The survivors must all somehow be carriers that are immune? Of course, we saw in Season 1 that wasn't the case with some in the group changing after getting bitten.

Carl gets a reprieve from me for at least another week. Nice shot, kid!

Soooo.....50 cows is like a giant dinner bell to these things? I didn't know they had supersonic hearing - they certainly don't have that great of smell as we've seen numerous times.

They just got rid of the best character on the show, and the only one that gave it any edge.

Rick & Darryl are pretty strong characters. But agreed they are going to have to introduce something new. Probably why all the rumors of the governor story arc in Season 3.

I knew Shane was going to die, just thought that it would be next week.

I'm interested to see who goes next week......

I liked Shane, if they kill off Daryl I'll be pissed.

I think Herschel and a couple more get taken out next week

There are so many ways they can go with the story now....the shane/rick/lori thing was getting kind of old...like the sophia search. Next week we'll see tons of walkers and they will leave us hanging on the cliff wanting more.

Me, I never would have left that tank in episode 1 except to get gas and eat!

They have followed the book for the most part and I have read where the governor has already been chosen for season 3. I think Shane was in the process of getting it already by cut or something during one of the battles. He seemed crazy all episode and seemed to be fighting something.

Well I would get on a boat and go to an island. The virus is not airborne and most viruses that are not stay that way. I would get some good soil and seeds and farm/fish on an island.
