Seems obvious, but that would be far too predictable (but "real", and sometimes writers go for that). I think the other possibility is an abnormality with her blood, she is perhaps carrying an immunity or may be a carrier similar to how some people are carriers of HIV but don't develop symptoms.

Still can't believe how it ended...

There was a bonding moment between boy and animal, then boom. They're both lying in their own blood.

I love this show.

I don't know. If she was a carrier of an immunity I think the last episode of season 1 would have ended differently. I don't think that Scientist or whatever would have been so willing to kill himself.

I think that the scientist told him that HE is a carrier/ has some kind of immunity. I mean how long was he out in that hospital bed before the epidemic happened?

Possibly. But I think the scientist had already given up. Remember, his lab was basically out of fuel so I think he was taking the easy way out regardless. The other global CDC's had stopped responding, so he would have felt it was hopeless even if she had an immunity.

Based on the previews for season 2...there are going to be all kinds of new characters introduced.

And I really hope a zombie eats the two chicks (not Rick's wife) soon...they're super annoying.

I've been think about who actually shot the deer and carl.....after thinking about it long and hard I think I might have it, but then again maybe not. lol

Merle has been out of the last 6 episodes....both him and his brother were close and knew those woods they were searching in. I think Merle shot them and will reappear on the show, they set it up for a comeback when they said he took the truck.



and to answer that question above, yes absolutely lol!

I finally got a chance to watch the season opener, thought it was great but man what a way to end that episode, didn't see that coming for sure!

I thought the show tonight sucked. I was wondering how many episodes they could really get out of running from and killing zombies. The entire show was literally filler.

The Walking Dead isn't just about zombies though. It's mainly about the people and how they are dealing with the situation...

However, next week is supposed to be pretty action packed in terms of zombie killing.

I caught an extended preview of next weeks episode and......







Carl was talking about the deer to his parents sitting bedside, then he suddenly stopped talking, moving, and breathing. His eyes were wide open as well...

Kind of makes you wonder.

Shane, yes. Otis, probably not.

Then again, the show doesn't have much predictability when it comes to killing people off...

No chance Shane dies before the whole "slept with my wife" confrontation.

I could see Otis dying, for the semi-irony of the he shoots kid, kid lives but he dies angle.

Does Carl live...after watching that sneak peak of next week's episode I'm not sure. They make it seem like he dies, but they do a great job of keeping you on your toes and guessing.
