Now, I slightly remember the MSU game in '98 (6 years of age), but I don't remember the full specifics.

In that game, even though Sparty was chipping at the lead, was there any confidence that we'd be able to put points on the board? Because last night, I think the consensus of my group was that once Bauserman came in, the only way we were gonna win the game is to hold Nebraska under 27.

My comment was about a worse collapse, which I think MSU '98 was. That was arguably the best Ohio State squad ever and they lost to an average MSU at home (although Saban was the coach at MSU) after leading 21-7 at the half. That team was far and away superior to MSU.

This year's Ohio State team was not far and away more talented than Nebraska. So while it was a epic collapse, it is not as bad as 1998 MSU game in which OSU choked away a national title.

Any work on Miller yet?

The 21-point rally marked the largest in Nebraska's school history, topping the Huskers' 17-point comeback against Texas A&M in 2002.

The Buckeyes had a pretty valiant effort. Miller is the real deal, he would be incredible in the (gasps) Urban Meyer offense. Bauserman is worse than the quarterback I played with at ol' Stritch High. A friend of mine knows Andrew Sweat, and I guess most of the team feels that Kenny Guiton is the guy who needs to be in there instead of Joe.

OSU was not driving when the ball was ripped out of his hands. Unless you consider being on their own 17 yard line 'driving'.

2 running plays later, Martinez ran one in untouched from 18 yards out, cutting the lead to 27-13 with nearly 8 minutes left in the 3rd. (miller wasn't hurt yet)

The next drive Bauserman only got one attempt on 3rd and long because Miller got injured on 2nd down. Nebraska got the ball back and Martinez threw the long bomb for a TD. 27-20 in the 3rd quarter and Miller had only been missing for one offensive snap. The game was really anyone's game up until Miller got hurt. Don't get me wrong, Bauserman is awful and they had no chance after Miller was out, but the game was still very much in question even before the Miller injury occured.

Nebraska physically whipped the defense's asses up and down the field right after Miller's fumble and continued to for the rest of the game.
