OSU was not driving when the ball was ripped out of his hands. Unless you consider being on their own 17 yard line 'driving'.
2 running plays later, Martinez ran one in untouched from 18 yards out, cutting the lead to 27-13 with nearly 8 minutes left in the 3rd. (miller wasn't hurt yet)
The next drive Bauserman only got one attempt on 3rd and long because Miller got injured on 2nd down. Nebraska got the ball back and Martinez threw the long bomb for a TD. 27-20 in the 3rd quarter and Miller had only been missing for one offensive snap. The game was really anyone's game up until Miller got hurt. Don't get me wrong, Bauserman is awful and they had no chance after Miller was out, but the game was still very much in question even before the Miller injury occured.
Nebraska physically whipped the defense's asses up and down the field right after Miller's fumble and continued to for the rest of the game.
