With conference games kicking off this weekend and next, what bowl game do you predict your team to be playing in come December/January based on the first few weeks of the season?

I'd be surprised if WVU isn't playing in the Big East's BCS bowl, which I'm guessing will be the Orange Bowl. I'm also very hopeful that they'll be playing in the Orange Bowl because the Jets are in Miami a few days earlier. Would be a sweet few days in Miami. New Years Eve, Jets vs Dolphins, Mountaineers vs probably Clemson.

I am shooting high and saying Orange Bowl. GT is the only team left that scares me...I just hope we don't fuck up to Maryland or something.

I see one of two scenarios happening for Michigan:

A. Capital One/Outback Bowl (more probable that B)

B. They really overachieve and lose to an undefeated, BCS Championship bound Wisconsin in the B1G Title game.. thus sending them to the Rose Bowl.

Like I said, A is much more probable.. but B wouldn't shock me.

I am guessing UC plays in the Belk Bowl (formerly the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte) against the #5 ACC team. Hoping for a little better though....

Ohio Bobcats:

Win MAC East, get torched by Toledo in MAC title. Get shipped to Idaho Potato Bowl (Boise) or Godaddy.com Bowl (Mobile) since Toledo will get sent to Pizza Pizza in Detroit.

Notre Dame in the.....

9-3 or less = Champs Sports Bowl

10-2 = Fiesta Bowl, and every Notre Dame fan shaking their head at the USF and UM games.

I'm not seriously worried about any team but Stanford. USC's Barkley-to-Woods offense is scary, but I'm not overly worried about the Trojans as a whole.

I went to the Meineke bowl a few years ago. It was a fun time.

I always said I would be pissed off if the Bucks made this bowl. Well, I will be pissed off as I drive the 20 miles to Reliant Stadium and sit in my Texans seats to watch them play Texas Tech or Kansas State. At this point, that is a pipe dream.

I really enjoyed San Antonio the last time they were there. If that's where they end up I would consider going again. (I also got to miss out on the announcers blabbing on about how Troy Smith was suspended for the game, so that was a bonus all in itself.)

San Antonio = great city. I prefer it to Houston, and put it on par with the metroplex.

My roommate is damn certain Ohio State won't win an October game and very likely won't make a bowl. At 6-6, where I think they could realistically finish, does Ohio State accept a bowl invite if they go ahead and fire all of the coaches?

Absolutely. I'd love to see Ohio and Ohio State face each other in the Spud Bowl in Boise. ;)

I see OSU at 7-5, but even if they finish 6-6 they accept the bid, the practice time alone is worth sucking it up for a lesser bowl.
