Because you're obviously a fucking idiot if you believe AF's QB is good.

It doesn't take a "good" QB to snap the ball and hand it off to the back every play.

ND knew what AF was going to run every play and they still gave up 33 points, LOL.

He is a good option quarterback, which is what Air Force needs him to be. Coming into the game, 1 out of every 6 passes he threw went for a touchdown. That is pretty effective.

That's because every defense is expecting a run. The rare times he throws it, someone is going to be open.

Handing the ball off/pitching the ball is essentially the same thing. 20% of the time? do YOU know how the triple option works?

It isn't possible, I agree...though it is possible to just stack the box since it's likely going to be a sweep. There is no reason ND couldn't man up on them and beat them at the point of attack. ND has better athletes than AF. As for the OSU comparison, it's comical you are comparing a team dealing with suspensions and NCAA scandals to ND. I guess it levels the playing field for you to make that comparison.

Oh, and no I didn't watch the ND game...there were several (5+) better games to watch at that time.

Double option or triple option in either direction out of every formation they run mixed with option pass is not possible to know what they are going to run on every play. Ohio State, pre-suspension when they were at full strength, was a 2 point conversion away from going into overtime with Navy.

We'll see how it goes when Ohio State's season opener is at Navy in a couple of years.

Which goes back to my point that he is a good quarterback for the offense Air Force runs. No one is saying he is the best QB in the country or anything of the sort. For what Air Force runs, he is a very good quarterback. You are the one trying to make him into something more or less than that.

Handing the ball off and pitching the ball is not the same thing, especially in the triple option. And I would still guess that the ball is given on the dive about 20% of the time. There is a lot more to it than simply handing off, and its clear you can't understand that.

You can't just stack the box because when you do that, they run an option pass and a tight end is running down the seam wide open for the horrible quarterback to hit in stride for a TD. Again, you show your limited (non-existent) football knowledge. Regarding OSU, how many defensive players were suspended against Nebraska? How many defensive players left due to the NCAA scandal? Statistically and in the minds of pretty much every OSU fan on this board, OSU was a top 10 defense nationally. So please explain how such a talented defense can't stop an option offense with a QB who can't throw the ball downfield?

I'm very aware. The triple option when ran well is a bitch to defend, regardless of who is running it. Add in a more than competent thrower and its impossible to completely stop.
