Yeah, you're right about the fanbases- I guess I was thinking about the average fan getting pumped up for what Musberger was predicting would be a low-scoring game. Ohio State's offense was the laughingstock of college football yesterday, from their own fanbase to ABC's crew.
Bethune-Cookman scored 2 TD's vs. Miami yesterday- 2 more than Ohio State did. I'll be shocked if we break double-digits vs. Nebraska. Not exactly a prime-time thriller.

They will need the help of other teams to knock off Stanford (Oregon/ND), LSU/Bama (Florida/Title game), and Oklahoma (Okie St, Texas, AM). I mean, without those teams losing, Wisconsin wont be in. The only team ahead of them they could jump without a loss is Boise. Even the likely loses wont help, as it is to teams ahead of them (Bama/LSU and Okie St/Okl).
I suppose so, but I guess my frustration is with the currrent system in college football. In what other sport on the planet Earth are experts handicapping which teams make it to a championship game a full 9 weeks or so away from when it actually gets decided? Herbie was just rubbing it in my face, like he was in week 1 when LSU and Oregon were playing.
