Ridiculously entertaining game.

Dominant first half by Air Force.

Pure fight by Navy in the second half.

I love service academy football.

I was sorry to see Navy lose after that comeback. A great game by two good teams though. That onside kick was perfectly executed.

"Everything was going our way until the penalty." Niumatalolo said. "That is an unfortunate call to make in a hard-fought game. It is a service academy game with two teams who will be serving their country. It was a huge penalty; it changed everything. I hope those guys can sleep well tonight."

Navy score the first touchdown of overtime. The Navey QB ran it in on a hard foughht play. He thesaid something to one of the Air Force players. I'm not sure what it was. The Navy guy said he was telling him to get out of his way. Whatever it was, it lasted a split second. The ref called an unsportsman like penalty against Navy and the extra point was moved back 15 yards. The needed low angle of the extra point caused it to be blocked. Air Force then scored on their turn and with the extra point, won the game.

I don't think a "low angle" was needed for the extra point. It wasn't that long. Navy lost. Air Force won. It wasn't because of a penalty.
