I too thought Whitney was bad. Made it through about 5 minutes before I changed the channel.

My guess is that Andy being the manager is the start of a storyline, and he won't be boss for long.

Yeah I suppose that could happen, but they made such a huge deal of the "who will be the next manager" storyline during the last few episodes of last season, and they start the season off with Andy? GTFO.

I think he stays the manager for a long time. They've put too much into the "new manager" angle, to give one of them the job, then change soon after. I don't really get the dislike for Andy as manager.

I won't get the new episodes until March, and even then I may not watch them, but the more Andy = the crappier the show. He's a terrible character that does little more than sing and dance since the third season, when he was a somewhat humorous character. Ed Helms cannot carry this show. He isn't that funny and his character has gone through too many permutations. The Erin romance went no where, as did the Angela romance.

On another note, I thought James Spader's character was great. Loved his speech about turning losers into winners.

I'm just glad you won't be posting after each show since you don't get it until March.

No problem. The show has sucked for 3 years. If you enjoy it, fine. If it makes you feel better with that post, fine. Comedy is subjective.

The Office sucks, deal with it.

I guess I just don't understand why you would continue to watch something that is so terrible.

James Spader may actually work out more than I thought it would.

Enjoyed the first episode! Looks like there still might be some life in it yet...

With that said, Parks & Recreation > The Office.

When you watch the Office now, you really just need to relax, dim the lights, pop some popcorn....then shove it up your butt.

I'm a big fan of James Spader, and while I liked his character initially there's only so much that to work with the whole mysterious/manipulative genius angle. A cryptic one liner and a strange stare only has so much legs.

MB is the worst when it comes to movies/tv shows...he just dislikes everything, pretty much.

I had zero expectations going in and the show pleasantly surprised me. I thought Kevin planking on Dwight's desk was hilarious.
