Well, we are 1-1 now. Thoughts on this game?

Hopefully I don't see etb at the game. That would ruin my day even with a win.

Browns favored by 2.5, seems about right.

Dolphins by 4. They won't be bad enough to get the #1 pick. Even though that'd be best.

I'm taking Miami by at least 10 in this one.

I think the Browns will lose this just due to the level of competition these teams have played. The Browns played "so so" against shitty Cincinnati (don't get your skirts ruffled Bengal fan...the Browns are far from juggernauts either...BOTH teams stink) and Indy teams while the Fins put up a good fight againt the best team in the AFC (Patriots) and hung tough with a likely playoff team in Houston. I think the Browns defense will be tested this week for some reason.

I don't see a win this week. The Browns have managed to make opposing runningbacks look like Jim Brown and the dolphins seem to have a solid running game, much better than Indy's. Phins have the best defense we will have faced this season which doesn't bode well for the Browns inconsistent offense.

The initial plans are to get there in time to tailgate. We will see if my friends get up early enough. I will let you know when the day gets closer.ernest_t_bass;902648 wrote:We meeting up for a pregame beer?

This is pretty much why they will lose. Say all you want about Bush, but the dude still has talent, and RBs with talent seem to pwn the browns single handedly all the time (see MJD last year). Gotta love how it seems the Browns are finally starting to maybe figure out this pass rush thing, but now they can't figure out the run stop.Commander of Awesome;902785 wrote:I don't see a win this week. If the Browns had trouble with an anemic rushing attack like the Colts, they'll likely have serious issues with the Fins which will open up their passing game.

I wonder if Hardesty will get more carries this game. What is the point trying to save Hillis' legs if you aren't going to use your spell back, and give Hillis the ball 30+ times? Hillis had way too many carries to not have 100 yards imo.

They gave up 109 yds rushing against the Colts, 1/3 of that total was 2 runs of 18 and 15 not exactly having trouble. The overall defense has been pretty darn good for having a new Coord.BR1986FB;902803 wrote:If the Browns had trouble with an anemic rushing attack like the Colts, they'll likely have serious issues with the Fins which will open up their passing game.

Better yet, if you're going to use Hardesty, why not try him between the 20's, where he might be able to get out in space, instead of bringing him in at the goal line?like_that;902834 wrote:I wonder if Hardesty will get more carries this game. The Browns should be 2-0, but instead are 1-1. not bad but I think this weekend will be a tougher matchup for the Offense. I think the D should step up a little more since they wont be having to face Kerry Collins again. And they will have to do a better job bc they have to stop the explosiveness of Reggie Bush. Have to keep him contained and cant let him get out in space. I worry about the Dolphins pass rush against our OL though.

With Hicks at tackle, I worry about any team's pass rush against the Browns. He was a complete waste of space on the field. Any play action play Colt had a DE right in his face. Colt can make plays if he doesn't have to scramble as soon as he tries to look down field.zach24oz;902853 wrote:The Browns should be 2-0, but instead are 1-1. not bad but I think this weekend will be a tougher matchup for the Offense.
