I actually like what he has done so far, much more aggressive than what we've had in the past. Also helps that we have more weapons to utilize I would say.

Browns offense should be able to move the ball in this one. Had NO idea how brutal the Fins defense was.

Also expect Jabaal Sheard to have another nice game as he's facing a rickety right tackle (Colombo).

It's not as bad as the stats indicate, we were top 10 in stopping the run and pash last year and have played the Pats and Texans so far. Mike Nolan is a good D coordinator. This should be a close game.

Jake Long is playing hurt rumors say as well, he has already given up 1.5 sacks which is very unlike him.

Still think the Browns will move the ball through the air on them. Fins haven't really faced a good RB yet but I hear their D-Line is stout. Dansby could be out with a groin issue.

Long should still hold up against Jayme Mitchell. It's Colombo that Sheard should be licking his chops over.

We have tremendous depth on the defensive line and just signed Igor Olshansky as well, however the Dansby injury is a huge blow. We have two young stud corners in Vontae Davis and Sean Smith but our Safeties can't cover anyone and blow coverage consistently.

Exactly, we got roasted last year against TE's and it has been no different this year.

I think it will be close but I'm picking the Dolphins.

And, coincidently, those are McCoy's favorite targets.

I would like to see the Browns get the ball to Cribbs more in space on those quick bubble screens. I don't think he's a vertical threat, per se, but if he gets the ball quickly, out in space, he can make things happen. He was a shoestring tackle away from busting one of those against Indy.

Because two of the best offenses in the league had succes against the Dolphins, doesn't mean you can say the Browns will move the ball.

BTW, Ben Tate is a very talented running back. You will see more and more of him, especially if Arian Foster's hammy doesn't play nice.

Sure I can. I can say anything I want. Dolphins have a weak group of safeties, safeties are generally assigned to cover TE's, Browns best receiving weapons are TE's, McCoy targets the TE's more than WR's....not too difficult to draw that conclusion.

And I wouldn't call Schaub's 230 yards passing a great "success" against the defense. Looks like only 34 of those were to TE's.

Ben Tate is "ok" but he's nothing to write home about. He's no Foster.

All of this conversation is fine and dandy -- but we are still talking about the Browns. The 2011 Browns, not the franchise I grew up rooting for. You know, the one that actually won divisions and got to championship games regularly.

I take nothing for granted and don't go into this game expecting to win.

Hoping and rooting like crazy for a win? You bet. But not expecting anything good to happen.

Such is the life of the 21st Century Browns fan.

isn't that the truth. expect the worse and when they win we are the happiest guys around. hopefully cleveland is prepared this weekend. i have season tickets and im debating going or not. i hate going to a home game like i did the bengals game and watch a sloppy performance, its a waste of a sunday, espically when we leave at 4 am..

I want to believe in this Browns team just like every season I want to believe that this new incarnation of the Browns is the one that will return us from the bowels of the league. However, being a Cleveland sports fan has left me very guarded and I almost never go in to a game expecting a Browns victory. This week is no different because even though we played much better last week, Miami is probably better then 0-2 and will give us a game for sure. Luckily their weakness on defense seems to be our strength on offense.

I'll be honest, I haven't had this much faith in a Browns defense in a long time (which really isn't saying much). Sure Carter and Addai shredded us at times last week but they never scored and that's what's most important. Hopefully we can contain Reggie Bush on the plays they try to get him out in space and get enough pressure on Henne to force him in to some turnovers.
