"It's not ryan, it's ryne" lol rome. I like him, but come on I would never get over a Browns SB loss, especially if I felt like they were screwed over.

Funny you mention rome and his horse. I read on deadspin he bought a horse, puts a lot of money into this "hobby," and this horse has yet to win a race lolfail.

lol those are good ones too. I'm with you though, I'm still pissed about the 2007 loss to the Raiders bc of Nat "the fat" Dorsey.

LMAO at his horse, he's always talking about his horse and "how he gets it now" on the show.

Jim Rome is alright but he can be a douche at times. For some reason he loves to rub anything negative in about Ohio State. He also said Hangover was overrated. You can just tell he thinks he is "cooler" than everyone else.

Anyways this game should be ugly but you never know in the NFL.

This Sunday will be a good barometer of what the Steeler's really have mentally. If they can put Week One behind them and come out and play Steeler football, that will show me a lot. If they don't, I guess that will show me a lot as well.

Sometimes Rome's ego gets in the way of a good show.

I just hate when he over plays those mixes or whatever....very annoying. He asks cake questions like a pussy on his interviews...no wonder athletes do his shows.

I'm a fan of Jim Rome....even though he talks shit on my teams sometimes. I could see how he rubs some people the wrong way but I enjoy his show.

4ringz-I agree. I'll honestly still be concerned if it's a close win. I expect them to win by at least 2 scores. They need to bounce back in a big way.

I don't have a problem with him calling out teams but damn he is all over Ohio State and I can't figure out why. Any shot he can get to jump on them he does. Just kind of gets annoying.

How big of a loss is Colon going to be?

Jim Rome isn't alone in jumping all over OSU. Mark May is far worse than Rome when it comes to that. Of course, if it's warranted then what's the big deal but you can still go overboard. Say what you have to once or twice but no sense in beating a dead horse.

Colon is a fairly big loss but they've been here before with o-line injuries. Marcus Gilbert has to step up and play well now. Depth took a hit too.

As much as Rome tries to claim he is impartial he is a huge USC honk.

I miss Flozell Adams. Never thought I would say that.

the NFL pretty much fines for anything anymore...it is a joke. The 15 yd penalty was enough punishment..

Yeah, I didn't think it was a "vicious" horse collar so I was surprised by the fine.

I mean, they fined Charles Woodson $10,000 for an intentional punch that he threw against the Saints but Troy got hit for $15k (for what was admittedly an illegal play) trying to make a tackle. I just figured a punch is worse than committing a regular penalty. Oh well. It is what it is.

Ramon Foster or Trai Essex will get the start in place of Kemo today.
