Nolan Ryan and Rickey Henderson....two unmatched talents with arm and legs in baseball history.....both went on to have unbreakable records of career strikeouts and career stolen bases.

#1 Nolan Ryan has the most strikeouts of any player before turning the age of 36......who holds the record for most strikeouts AFTER turning the age of 36?

#2 Rickey Henderson has the most career stolen bases before turning age 30......who has the most career stolen bases AFTER turning age 30?

Niekro is an excellent guess because he threw the most innings by far....but he is not correct

Another good, but incorrect guess. Hough threw gas and struck out a lot as a young pitcher...but then lost velocity and turned into a formidable knuckle ball guy....pitching forever like Niekro.

C'mon fellas....who stole 108 bases at age 35? He might be a good guess.

I can't think of anyone that would have more strikeouts after age 36 than Johnson. I looked him up and he is pushing 2000 Ks.

Randy Johnson had 2218 strikeouts after turning age 36......on Sept 10th of 1999

Sir Nolan had 2465 strikeouts after turning 36........that is a silly number, about the number Charlie Hough had in his entire 24ish year career

Also, no one ever stole 108 bases at age 35. Lou Brock stole 118 at age 35. Rickey stole 108 at age 24.

Rickey Henderson is correct!
You guys are so mart!

Rickey had only 794 SB before turning 30 and only 612 after turning 30....Lou Brock had 577 after age 30...but just 361 before
