It's pretty much a given that there is an iphone 5 coming out and not just a iphone 4S, right? And it seems like there is a good chance it is going to be launching on Sprint. I've put in a year with Sprint so I should be eligible for an upgrade now which would make switching back to the iphone a given.

Also, in before "Android is better."

Hasn't been announced yet. Many are speculating "no." I am speculating "yes;" simply because of the fact that I cannot fathom a major cellphone these days being released without 4G connection.

meh, just saying I used to have android and not having google navigation was a big turnoff for me when buying the iphone4. Using mapquest instead of Navigation hasnt hindered me in anyway. Just not as good of an app

I'm at 15 months on my Sprint HTC EVO, and I absolutely love it. I would consider switching to the iPhone at some point, but right now I can't justify the cost of switching as I see it as mostly a lateral move.

Also if it is 4G, Sprint will no doubt impose their 4g $10 surcharge which is BS if your area doesn't have a 4g tower.

I'm told the 5 will have a laser that projects a keyboard onto any surface from which you can then type.

That rumor started with a concept video that was circulating around. There has been no indication that a keyboard like that will be available on the next iPhone.

But that would be cool as hell!

Apple released the first iPhone without picture messaging, so I could see them repeating history by releasing a new phone missing a key feature.

Two reasons why I bought my Droid phone. Google maps/turn by turn navigation and the notification bar. Apple (I believe) has addressed the notification bar feature with iOS 5, however they still suck with the maps. Why can't they just make a native turn by turn apps. The google maps blows it out of the water.

Do that, and I'll definitely switch

Will be getting my wife the iphone if/when it comes to Sprint....I would get it if and when Sprint get's it new "Network Vision" up and the service will be on par with Verzion in Franklin and Licking County INSIDE buildings.

Every android phone i've had on Sprint, the battery dies so fast because the service is marginal inside where I work. I tested the HTC Thunrderbolt and the battery was SOO much better than my android phones on Verizon because the service wasn't always fluctuating.

I need to have my android phone so I can swap the battery and can't do that with the iphone.

Imex aren't you always the one talking about phones on here? I can get a new phone through work, which one should I go with? I am thinking of going with the Thunderbolt from Verizon. However I can pick any carrier and a variety of phones.

The Bionic is being released by Verizon tomorrow.

The Thunderbolt is also quite old. As stated above, I'd spring for the Bionic if you can get anything.

A couple questions... What's ur current phone and where do you live?

I was really impressed with Verizon 4g(lte) while I tested the Thunderbolt for the 14 days trial period and would have kept it if not for the price! I'm staying with Sprint because if they complete the new network, it should be improved immensely.

If your looking for a phone now and want Verizon, I would go with the Bionic which comes out tomorrow if you want Android. If you wan to wait, the iphone 5 will be out soon and iphones are one of the top phones out and easier for the new smartphone user to handle and many more apps.

All smartphone users go to www.movietogo.tv/blog on your phone, wont work from your computer. Stream or download new movies on your phone. I download the movies to my phone and watch on my evo3d and my 4.3 inch screen.

My 4.3 inch screen is why I prefer android over iphone is because I enjoy the larger screen and will never go back to a smaller screen.

I'll do that and then utilize the free mirror mode on my Photon/Atrix/Bionic and watch those movies on my HDTV at home. Mirror mode via HDMI out is why I prefer any Motorola phone over HTC/Samsung/iPhone because I enjoy being able to do everything I can do on my phone on my TV.

The rumored pics of the iPhone 5 look nice as hell. Looks to have a 4" screen and is very thin.

I've had my iPhone 4 since about February, but I may have to jump on the iPhone 5 if I can get enough back from my iPhone 4.

Also, I'd expect Apple's map service to roll out in time on the iPhone 5. iCloud will be a main component of the new iPhone as well.
