We're 1.5 hours into today's event, and still no mention of Sprint picking up the iPhone. Perhaps that's today's "one more thing"?

The best thing about the 4S is how low it's driving prices down to the other iPhones.

They made the 3G free? If they want to LOSE customers they'll do this. The 3GS has AWFUL performance on iOS4.

As it is though, the iPhone 4S will be a very solid upgrade, even if it's for the camera.
I probably won't upgrade though, not until the 5. I'll just download iOS 5 and move on with my iPhone 4.

Most of the good upgrades come in iOS 5, so no real need to upgrade. I do hope the "Siri" thing is available on the iPhone 4, but if not, no biggie.

I am not going to get new iphone, I'll just stick with my evo for another year. Once you get ClockworkMod Recovery on your phone you can make a backup of your phone as-is, that way if you don't like CM7 you can just restore it back to the way it was before. The more I looked at it you had to have a plan that was way more than what our plan was. Which is stupid because we have the unlimited everything family plan.
