"We had a plan maybe to (play Miller) in that second quarter, very similar to last week," Fickell said. "But it just didn't work out the way we had probably planned it in our head."It was just the flow of the game. It's just one of those gut decisions you've got to make out there."

And the reason you don't post the address is because you don't know it. You're a joke.

Keep acting like you are somebody because your daddy and grandpa made a little bit of money. They can only feed you with a spoon for so long.
Yeah dipshit, my dad has a friend that graduated from Otterbein close to when I did and was a fraternity brother of mine

Not sure what spoon they are feeding me with, since I don't even get a christmas present from them anymore

Can't say I was surprised by the game today. I had a feeling it would be close. Give props to Toledo, they actually have a nice team. They have some athletes with speed and quickness. Mistakes on both sides. OSU punt blocked, UT with penalties that kept OSU drives alive.
I'll stick to what I said before the season, this OSU team is a 3/4 loss team. They lack speed on offense, big time. The defense will get better. But can't give up big plays as they did today. They defended the screen pass poorly, very poorly on multiple occasions. Our FG kicker is pitiful as well. Better hope we don't need a game winner that is 35 plus out.
Still scratching my head why Miller didn't get in the game. Bauserman wasn't that good where I could say, "ok, leave him in". Miller brings a different dimension with this scrambling...and it could have been used today. Fickell fucked up by not playing Miller and getting him some more experience, which is needed.
On to Miami. Could be interesting game.

I agree but dang Bauserman was putrid. How could Miller do ANY worse. Even some of Bausermans long completions were complete ducks.

Maybe Braxton is TO prone in practice and Bauserman is not? I dunno. Just what I get out of that quote.

BTW that's like me saying I know who really killed JFK and then saying if you don't believe me it's your problem. When you make a statement like you did, mo one believes it without some verification which you have failed to provide over and over.

"Hey man, sorry you got fired, but some idiot online didn't believe me that you knew that Urban Meyer had bought a house through a trust in UA, so I had to post all that information that we had talked about, you know the trust name, the trustee info, where the house was.... then I had to name you because the idiot still didin't believe me, then the info got back to your office that you were giving out info you aren't supposed to, so you lost your $80k per year job, even though I know your wife just recently had a kid and you still have bills from her cancer you are paying off"

Yeah, Crynasty, proving you to be an even bigger doucher really isn't the top of my priority list.

I haven't really commented on this game yet.

The O-Line looked absolutely miserable for the most part. I was really disappointed with our run game. Bauserman started out hot then just completely fell apart. I'm glad we got the win... but OSU looked pretty bad. I hope Toledo ends up only losing one more game max... otherwise I'm thinking OSU is around a 4-5 loss team.

Carlos Hyde gave the O-line props on the postgame show, but that had to be pure bullshit because they were absolutely pitiful all game long. Bauserman looked like a deer in headlights half the game. It's ridiculous Braxton didn't play a single drive. If you're not going to play him at home against Toledo then how the hell do you play him on the road in Miami? With how awful the o-line was Braxton could have at least provided a spark running the ball. The defense played pretty bad overall for what we're used to, but really they gave up just 14 points when you take into account the first TD came from piss poor punt protection and a runback to the 1.

The major issue with Bauserman is Fickell kept talking about him not turning it over, which is great, but it doesn't matter when you can't complete passes. It worked out today, but he plays like today against Miami or Nebraska, or Wisconsin and OSU doesn't have a chance. I thought Braxton looked like the better QB against Akron and other than the first drive Bauserman didn't do anything today to make me think he should be QB for Ohio State.

Good article here: http://www.cleveland.com/livingston/index.ssf/2011/09/ohio_state_luke_fickell_withst.html

This team reminds me too much of the 2004 team. They'll be a lot better with Nathan Williams playing, plus all of the suspended players back, but it's to be expected that things will be tough with so many freshman and sophomores playing. May be a rough year this year only to have them back to BCS bowls next year and beyond.

Miller has to play. Bauserman is so inaccurate it's not funny. The only throw he makes consistently is throwing it 20 yards over the sidelines. He gives up on the play and throws it away way too often.

Face it Buckeye fans; you can't be in the Top 10 and BCS bowling every friggin year.

Ohio State lost its head coach, its starting QB, and several suspended starters due to lack of common sense on the part of Tressel and the Tattooed 5 as well as NCAA absurdity.

The fact that Ohio State is 2-0 at this point should be considered an obvious positive. Barely beating Toledo in The Shoe should come as no surprise. Keep in mind that Toledo is picked as a MAC front-runner in 2011.

If the Buckeyes can travel to Miami and win there, Buckeye fans should consider it a significant accomplishment to be 4-0 when Sparty visits The Shoe.

Ohio State will finish 9-3 or 8-4 at worst this season and will probably wind up in either the Capital One or Outback Bowl. When you stop and think about it, that's not bad for a "recovery" year.

Buckeye fans need to lighten up.
