What's with the avatar? I thought you were a Vikings fan? You were Strapping Young Lad in your previous OC life, correct?

Would very much love to go to a Ravens/Steelers game. I have a friend who lives in Pittsburgh who wants me to come and watch the 2nd one but it would probably just be at Primanti Brothers. I mean that would be nice also because I've never been there but it would be as great as attending the game. I may go to the Ravens/Browns game in Cleveland though!

Bummed that this game is on at the same time as the Browns. I like the Ravens to pull it out at home, but it should be a good one.

Friends have season tix to the steelers so if you want a ticket we can probably part with one to a ravens fan for......300 bucks.bigdaddy2003;885617 wrote:Would very much love to go to a Ravens/Steelers game. Here is a little bit of a hint. The week of the game...I think on Tuesday but I could be wrong, is when the opposing team returns their tickets and they go back on sale on Ticketmaster. The other team gets a small allotment of tickets, and the seats are in the upper corner of the end zone. When we need extra tickets we have scored some that way the week of the game. Also, tix that the steelers team themselves that they dont use go on sale then. Scored a ticket in the team family section for a playoff game a few years ago that way.

We usually buy the neighbors tickets, when it starts to get cold out or if their is a chance of rain he stops going to games. 2 tickets 12 rows back in the end zone and a gold parking pass. The parking pass makes it nice. This has to be one of the best rivalry's in the NFL.

Its just a figure of speech kind of like when someone says Oh I hope my team destroys the other team or along those lines. No one actually hopes they destroy the members of the other team....Thanks for the after school special life lesson...Internet = serious businesshrspeedmerchant;885476 wrote:I certainly hope it's just a joke. Really pissed this game is on at the same time as Bengals-Browns. This should be a Sunday or Monday night game, or at least a 4PM start. I only saw one preseason game for the Ravens but Flacco looked better than I've ever seen him in that game. I think the Lee Evans pick-up will really help their offense. 24-21 Ravens.

I'm interested to see if they let Andre Gurode play center over Matt Birk. I'm also interested to see what Leach does for Ray Rice's yardage.

Not quite sure how to respond to this. Maybe some care. Maybe some don't. I'll throw it out there anyway as pregame details.Raw Dawgin' it;886084 wrote:who gives a **** who calls the game...

Steelers projected W/L record
at Baltimore L 0-1
Seattle W 1-1
at Indianapolis W 2-1
at Houston L 2-2
(or vice versa)
Tennessee W 3-2
Jacksonville W 4-2
at Arizona W 5-2
New England L 5-3
Baltimore W 6-3
at Cincinnati W 7-3
at Kansas City L 7-4
Cincinnati W 8-4
Cleveland W 9-4
at San Francisco W 10-4
St Louis W 11-4
at Cleveland L 11-5
Toughest part of the schedule is the beginning.
Have to avoid 1-3. A 2-2 start would be fine.

I don't think the Steelers have lost a season opener since like 2002.
