wow santana. he could have walked into home plate and been safe. the catcher was falling away from the plate and for some reason santana dived on him instead of just going towards the open inside part of the plate.

We are set at first but not third? you must have your eyes closed when bumbling santana is out at 1B.Footwedge;882956 wrote:If I was the owner, I would spend whatever it takes to acquire a good, major league catcher. I would not keep Sizemore nor Hafner. I would also see if I could land a third baseman. And finally, more pitching...but only a quality pitcher...not a middle of the packer like Ubaldo.
I think we are set at first, second, short and the outfield will sort itself out.

7-3....sipp walks in a run, although he had a strike three that wasn't called.

I think Santana will grow into a decent defensive first baseman. Yes, he's been bad over there so far. Or maybe we should just sign Texeira......or......Miguel Cabrera...or Gonzalez......or Pujols.Glory Days;883028 wrote:We are set at first but not third? you must have your eyes closed when bumbling santana is out at 1B.

oh for sure, i was giving the royals a discount. but in all reality, when a once-in-a-lifetime talent like shelley duncan is on the table, the deal should start at hosmer and gordonCrimson streak;883233 wrote:I'll take gordon instead

Amazing what happens when you only my strikeout twice all gm and put the ball in play. You score runs and win

ugh...it can never be easy
also, dumbass decision to lob it in to the plate and let the runner advance to second.

That's normally what happens to the Indians. Maybe the same will apply to the tigers.hoops23;883554 wrote:18-2 was the final.
