So you have the exact knowledge of how far exactly players can take the celebration. Did I tell person on this thread that he/she is the moron; one for not knowing that there is only one ref, and two that the officials did not cost the kids the game the players did, no. Did I jump on the person who said that refs (in the possessive form) are out for revenge, no. Did I even bother to go after the OC's best grammar farce about what is a friggin joke, no. I laughed at Captain Cavalier comparing unsportmanlike conduct fouls to jaywalking, the comparison was truly amusing. I also replied back to J-Dover that his personal attack was weak. I was not the one that said that they were correct, Hank Z did.
1. Let's drill someone for calling the BJ/SJ.... a ref. Really? People use the term "ref" when referring to any official in virtually every sport besides baseball because they are all umpires. It's a pretty universal term.
2. Cav's comparison isn't too far off base.
3. I'm not saying that the point is/isn't excessive celebration. I'm disputing your stance that it could be flag worthy because 9 players were celebrating.
Prolonged excessive team celebration like the one in the video? Interesting.
Yes, I actually see it every week(-) the point to the sky. I've coached for 5 years now at all 3 levels of High School and see both my team and the opposing team celebrate in an almost identical manner. There has never been a flag thrown. The only time we've even gotten a warning is from the sidelines for jumping up and down onto the field.
That is your interpretation. [/QUOTE]
