First of all....Congratulations Orrville. You played a heck of a game tonight.

If there is one thing I can say about tonight while looking forward to the Orrville season, the penalties and substiution packages need to be addressed. Looking to go deep onto the play offs you have to put an end to the penalties. Not sure if it was nerves or being over hyped, but cutting those out will go a long way.

Addressing the Titans... The offense needs to get on track. The Triway line is thin at best (epecially tonight) the heat took a toll on the remaining linemen. On D, Triway did a nice job except for a couple of long passes. I thought in the first half especially Triway managed the speed of Orrville.

RR1, was I right about what I told you prior to the game?

Good luck the rest of the season Orrville.

Let's get ready to beat the bears Triway.

You are right. We sometimes get the feeling that we can do something really stupid and beat ourselves with things like excess celebration penalties. They arent gonna go away though. It is a good point

That excess celebration penalty is stupid. Hopefully the OHSAA will see the light and refine the rule to put some common sense in it. Jumping up to high five etc. should not be a penalty. I'm against some of the antics of the pros, but high fives? Come on.

You are coached to get excited when you score or do something good, I think taunting is where you draw the line. Like you said, jumping up and chest bumping or high fiving is one thing, but then their is taunting which I think should be a penalty.

Either way last week we had 11 penalties for 97 yards and again tonight had problems with the yellow flag, let's get that fixed!

Nice win tonight riders!!

Kids will be excited when they score. You have to let them have some fun, the excessive celebration call is very subjective.

how much celebrating is there when you score 50+ and when a game you're supposed too???? hell you lead the "rival" series 30+ to 6...............

If anyone had a chance to go down on the field you would have noticed grass so long our kids said it felt like they were playing in a hay field. Nice try titans Maybe it slowed us down a bit? Thank goodness.

The band gave up most of those points!

WE only had 30 or so when the call was made in front of triways student section in the endzone bleachers.

Well Dover thought we were to small to be playing them, but Dover games were a real battle or even Canton Central was a good series.

The band must have given up 40 of those points, and expect flags when players score in the endzone where the other schools student section is located, players will try to give it back to the heckling in front of them.
Dover thought we were to small to be playing them but there were some good games in that series while it lasted and also the Central Cath series was more exciting than this "rivalry game?" now 34-6 !!!!

Hey BRF--

Lets see, win the game by 45pts, compare Triways playing surface to a hay field, insinuate Titan student section was at fault for Rider celebration penalties...
Need I go on?

And you object to my post??

Gonna be a long season for the Titans. Next year will be a struggle too, as this current sophomore class is extremely small and weak.

Yeah the numbers are thin at Triway, except for a freshamn class which has 24 players out. I have followed Triway football for eight years now, and the program overall is in the best shape I have ever seen it. I think Coach Lee is doing a tremendous job building the program, just confused as to why kids don't want to come out and play.

Rider JV's pitched a shutout today. I can't remember if they scored 50 or not, but if they didn't, it was close.

Got the scoreboard up and running, can't wait to see it under the lights.
