I also heard that the starting corner from last years team may not be returning do to some injury? It wasnt jennings but the other corner im not completely sure what his name is, anyone know if this is true?

The player you are thinking of is Andre Montgomery he had a neck injury last year and missed the last two games of the year i think he will must likly play next year but im not 100% sure.

I dont know much but it sounds like he will be here next year however that could change with how much time there is to football season

I've heard that Derek Batt will probably still be at BG playing football this fall. But that could change. Their house is for sale, but it is in Stone Ridge and has a very high price tag. I doubt they will be able to sell it very quickly. But if they do, who knows, maybe they all move to Kentucky then.

champ, I don't really know any more than what you read in the paper about the family situation. I know Jerry through football-related activities, that's about all.

And Steve Aungst was officially approved as the new head coach at the school board meeting this week.

His staff is staying almost the same as the year before but they are bringing up one of the freshmen coaches to take cullins position that he coached.

Also they are bringing back a coach who coach there a few years ago and he has been coaching at Van Buren the last 2 years

Besides that the rest of the coaches are staying the same

I think I would have preferred a complete fresh start. That is, head coach not from the system and a whole new staff. Be that as it may, I still support coach Aungst and hope he can put together a winner on the field.
