Stanton is no whiz in the OF....but Alonso was truly the worst I have ever seen in the OF.....if Stanton was as bad or even close he wouldn't be out there every game.....on the other side I'd Alonso was even decent he'd be locked in out there.
Stanton is sub par.....Alonso is atrocious.

Yeah true. I think Alonso can become subpar though and I'd rather have a lefty. Stanton has basically never played left although not sure that would be too hard to do.

Stanton in very scary manner is only 21....over 50 HR at age 21....scary what he may end up doing.....Alonso may have some great offensive years during his career....but his body type is not a good one at all while Stanton is statue-like.....at such a young age.
