How so? If you were just passing through town and didn't know anything about it, there are only 8 days a year where you can even tell the university exists. Columbus is a great city, but outside of the 8 home games, the university does not really add to anything already going on.

In fact, I do know what you mean. I paid for each and every cent of my degree. Bought my own car, paid for books, tuition, etc. Worked a job each and every day I was in college...sometimes 2 jobs.

This is not a very good list. There are some obvious choices (Austin, Madison, Athens), but it just seems like the author found some cool pictures, read the wikipedia page, and then made a list.
