Votto singled in Phillips in the 1st.

Great AB by Stubbs in the 2nd

But a poor entry into 2nd by Stubbs. He looked back and saw the ball coming. He could have adjusted his route to the inside of the base and made the tag a much more difficult proposition.

Once again a Bruce's poor AB takes a major chunk out of an inning that is very promising, and Reds are unable to draw even or take the lead. Every other batter in the inning had a very good AB. Although Votto's single on the 3-0 pitch did nothing to improve the outcome of the inning vs. what it would have been had he taken his walk.

Ramon with a great AB culminating in a hit off the wall in RF driving in the tying run -- 3-3 now. Pinch runner for Ramon to try to get in the lead run as there are still no out.

Reds dual catching strategy working very well in the "dog days" of August, as both catchers are doing well offensively now. Too bad the rest of the team does not have an offensive approach like Hernandez and Hanigan.

This guy isn't say Jose Tabata's name right is he?

He's saying Ta-Ba-Ta. I've always heard it as Tab-A-Tuh. Just annoying the hell out of me.

Sure wish the failed pinch running move for Ramon would not have happened! Reds need a couple RBIs now.

Phillips showing where he should be batting.

Cairo with a bad play on the non-cutoff and another ball off of his glove when ranging towards second.

And yet another poor baserunning play by Votto.

Mitch Williams annoyed the hell out of me during the game. Seemed like all he did was say what pitchers "should" do with their next pitch. "Now the count's 0-2, so he has four pitches to work with to get him out..." Dude...you're best known for choking in the World Series. In clutch situations, pitchers should do the exact opposite of you.
