Looks good. Not exactly sure what the fuck is going on in the pose, but at least someone gets a trophy.

I guess to each their own, but to me that thing looks like it was issued by the Franklin Mint and can be proudly displayed next to the rest of your Precious Memories collection for the low price of 19.95. Not like, you know, a football trophy.

I'll admit, it's not out of the realm of possibility one school saw that design and liked it. What boggles my mind is that both schools saw it and liked it.

Haven't you heard the maxim that if 100 people get together to develop an idea the result will be worse than the most terrible idea from any individual?

So the Trophy is called the CyHawk and is being sponsored by the Iowa Corn Growers Association. I guess the trophy was unveiled at the Iowa State Fair. They have announced a press conference for tomorrow at 2:00pm to discuss what is happening with the trophy. Sounds like the reaction was so overwhelmingly negative that they may be doing what the B1G Ten should have done with the Leaders and Legends names and change it.

The schools have decided to withdraw the trophy and go back to the drawing board. To make this more fail-tastic, there will be an interim trophy for this year's game.
