I get one every 2 months or so. I know when I'm going to get one because about 3-4 hours before it starts, my eyes start flashing odd colors and it appears as if I'm looking through a kaleidoscope. This goes on for about a minute or two, then fades. A few hours later, BAM! I now carry Excedrin Migraine in my toiletry kit.
