For big schools, it's Ohio State and I tend to have rotating favorites out there that strike my interest. Tend to always root for the Ohio MAC schools when not playing OSU or themselves.

Yeah, I never understand that statement about anyone. College football is a cash cow right now, with or without any of the traditional powers. Hell, last year's title game had two relative non-players historically and set a cable rating record. College football is unique in the way that stories develop within a season that make it interesting. Just like any other power, ND being good is good for ND but doesn't mean much to college football.

JMO I believe Notre Dame makes college football better when they are winning.

Seems obvious from the poll so far that it no doubt FEELS like this forum is about 90 percent OSU -- because there's a high concentration of Buckeyes fans compared to a scattering of fans for other teams.

Actually, it's about what I expected to see.

I've also noticed a lot of fans have multiple teams they root for. I'm also like that.

While OSU is my top team 99 percent of the time, I did graduate from Bowling Green and also follow them very closely each season. But I live in Columbus, so it's easier to see OSU games and get more involved in the day to day dealings of the team. Not to mention that my first college game as a kid was OSU --- one of those great father-son memories that I cherish. As a result, I was a huge OSU fan growing up, but picked BG for school because it better fit what I was doing and the type of atmosphere I felt I'd do better in.

On those occasions that BG does play OSU in football, I generally root for both teams to do well and have no injuries. If OSU is expected to be challenging for a national crown, I want them to win; if not, I am rooting for BG. In all other sports, I root for Bowling Green against the Buckeyes.

Go Irish.

I always felt the OC was more 50/50 Osu vs. other fans. Many more "other" fans than the huddle had. Also interesting that the sight creator is a WVU fan.

Weird I know, but Irish Buckeyes still do exist in the world. People also annoy me when they say "How can you be a huge Buckeye fan and like Notre Dame"? Um well, it's actually pretty easy given that they've only played each other 5 times in over 100 years.

I'm more of a college football fan than a fan of any team really. Used to love Ohio State but not so much anymore over the last couple of years. If I have to say a team though I'll say my school I go to, Ohio University.
