Arroyo is gonna hit a HR in the 3rd to put the reds up 2-1 and proceed to give up 4 in return on the way to a 7-3 reds loss.

I'll be there. They've managed to go 12-8 for me so far. Somehow. I think 6 or 7 of the losses were on Arroyo starts, though.

They are honoring Harang tonight. Can't miss that.

Had tix for this one but sold them.

A kid I coached in HS was slated to pitch tonite for the Padres. WHen I spoke to him 2 weeks ago he thought that they would stay on the same rotation, but they had an off day last week and skipped the guy in the rotation so now instead of pitching Fri in cincy he threw thurs in NY. Kinda sucks...havnet seen him pitch since he threw for the Ft Wayne Wizards a few years ago.

To make yesterday's matcup with him interesting, he pitched against fellow Ohioan, from Defiance, Jon Niese.

We faced both Luebke and Niese in HS and I thought Luebke was the better pitcher.




But anyways.................Arroyo will give up 2 bombs. It will come down to how many are on base on if the reds can win at all. If he gives up 3 runs or less in the 2 bombs he gives up...reds win.

What are they doing? Like a standing O type of thing? Or free t-shirts where the front and back are just 1 giant picture(takes up entire shirt) of his face. Because that would be pretty amazing.
