I used to love it years ago as it was my stout of choice if I didn't want an Imperial stout. Actually Mad Hatter was my go to IPA, however their flavor has changed since I first had it in 2005. Supposedly New Holland moved to a different location from where they were brewing and it used a different water source. I'm not sure if that was the cause of the flavor change, but I do know that the flavor of all their beers changed. It's been several years since I've had one maybe I should give it another shot. I think the Bells Kalamazoo Stout way better than this. Thirsty Dog Siberian Night is great too.

I need to start trying more beer. This place right by me has about 1000 different kinds. What can I say, the ghetto has perks.

Love Poet Stout. I have toured the New Holland microbrewery a couple of times. Very good tour and the restaurant is good also. Also highly recommend Dragon's Milk.
