Tees off this morning at Atlanta Athletic Club. The course looks awesome. Who does everyone like? I think my guy for this week is Jason Day, though I would love to see the American drought end.

I would like to see Day get his first major as well..but pulling for Specer Levin to get a top 20.

Tiger got it to -3 thru 5, then doubled the 260 yard 15th. Back to -1.

Really hope it's Tiger, Fowler or Bubba that take the tourney!

Even though disappointing for Tiger to give 3 strokes back, he's still only even...hopefully he finishes at -3 or so.

Agree, anything under par to open up the tournament will be great for Tiger. Finishing on the front 9 should be a plus, more scoring holes on that side.

likely double for tiger on 18. Playing like crap since the double on 15. Nobody has put up a good score on the front.

Welp Tiger was right about the final 4 holes being a tough test... 5 over on last 4 holes... Makes the turn at +2

Fire Foley and go to Leadbetter. I hate Tiger but this is a joke to watch. Sean Foley is the biggest gimmicky coach I've ever seen. Anyone who gimmicks the stack and tilt (which is a gimmick itself) should be laughed out of the profession. Go to someone who actually knows the golf swing.

I don't think he will withdraw. I think he just hasn't had enough time to practice through swing changes. Look at his sand and short game -- not sharp. It is called rustiness. Will be interesting to see what he does tomorrow. Then he has a big layoff.

McIlroy hurt his wrist when he hit a root with his swing...right now he is letting go of the club after every swing.

McIlroy will see the weekend, but he's pretty far out at +3. Adam Scott right in contention at -4 right now. Tiger at +10 is cooked.
