The huge joke of the first 10 weeks is now just killing it and up to a 31 game hitting streak.

30+ gets you your own thread

Ok....but this thread is not a pursuit of Cal Ripken Jr's record.

Missing a game is a fact not sarcasm.

I was being sarcastic saying it shouldn't count because he missed a game.

31 in a row is 31 in a row.

Back attempting #15 against the Reds And he went hitless...but after the game they changed an error by Cairo to a hit and it's still alive because of that.

And yes, it was certainly an error

He's going to break the record. No doubt about it.

Fredi rolled the dice by pinch hitting him in the Cincinnati series. Luckily he was able to get enough of a pitch to drive it out of that cavernous park.

Pretty sad when a 31 game hitting streak brings your OBP up to .289. I hate Uggla. I will never remember him for anything other than committing 722 errors in the all-star game and committing 5 outs in 4 at bats.

His numbers during the streak are as good as DiMaggio's were through 31 games.

That all-star appearance was hilariously bad.

Love me some Dan UGGLA! I hope to see him get 33 and 34 on Friday and Saturday in ATL versus the Cubbies.

I don't think he gets to 56... heck I'm not sure he even gets to 40 with the Giants and D'Backs coming into town after that, both teams that have guys who are throwing the ball very well this year

I love Uggla as well even though he went to the hated Braves. I just glad I didn't get an Uggla jersey like I thought about doing last year lol.

Uggla having another decent game. Nothing special.
