I know that showed up on the Fox track or whatever as a strike, but it was high.

Alonso is the right move....but I would have zero problem with Dontrelle hitting....it's a tough argue that he doesn't deserve it and is the best choice.

it's not a good sign when you #8ish starter is your best pitcher and hitter on the roster

Piss ass pitch call on 1-2!

Slider in gets him...but he got out of rhythm overthrowing fastballs.

That is only the 2nd time in Todd Helton's CAREER that he has struck out 4 times in a game. That is INSANE.

Yeah for sure, something guys like Gomes and Cabrera had last year. Unfortunately it didn't work for Gomes this year since he couldn't produce.

17-27 in 1 run games

Lost 19 of 21 against the Rockies

That's acceptable.

Start game 3 Dave....give it a go

We are 6-1 in game 3 after losing the first two...not sure that overwhelms the 19/21 stat.

Were you still watching and expecting them to win games?? This is a time to watch just to see what the young guys can do.

Or to see how long the wrath of Dusty takes to get to them.

Yes I have been expecting them to win haha. The team should be performing much better than it is IMO.
