Amen to that Brutus! Looks like a perfect evening in store as long as we can contain Riley/Beers and company! Nothing like a Friday football night in NE Ohio.

I really think that Northwest is going to be much more balanced than last season (QB Riley had 61 attempts against us last year). They are definately going to throw the ball, but I think Coach Whiting is going to run the ball right at us and make us stop them. If we can stop the run, I think we will be just fine!

I think we are set up well if they want to pass. If they want to run please meet Mr. Monheim!

If we can dissrupt the run and force you to pass, I like our chances. Coach Whiting will have something up his sleeve though for the Riders I'm sure.

GO RED RIDERS!

Northwest is under construction also. Parking is even uglier this year. You can't be as bad as if we were at home. Lol. I like riley, beers, pawlyk, harris, may match ups. I like our o line on your d line. So I say Indians will win. Orrville you have a ton of talent also this should come down to who's o line is better.

Scoreboard will NOT be ready for Friday night. Shipping delayade for a very tight deadline and of was decided to wait until week 3. Not a good idea to rush he install of a $60k scoreboard.

Good luck to Arrow Nation on the difference between accept and except.

:)

Interested to see how you guys do without Fuller. Guessing it will be a typical good Ashland team.

THATS OK - We know the final of this game already. So the old scoreboard can go out reading: Riders 10 Visitors 77

red rider nation, as much of a rival this game has become , when Northwest didnt know if we were going to have sports and told orrville to schedule someone else, orrville said no we will wait. with that there is alot of respect to orrville. we would never put 77 on you. although i do remember you guys putting 50 something on us back in 84

Brutus, with all due respect to Northwest, you couldnt put that number on us. Seems as if NW fans believe this is David vs Goliath with Orrville being David. Just remember one thing: When you pull into Orrville Friday night and walk up to the stadium from Ella St, read the sign that says: "Red Rider Country". It will be a great game but when all the smoke clears I think Orrville will be 1-0. No matter what happens Friday I do think both teams will have great seasons. It has been great talking to all of you and may the best team win Friday and most importantly hopefully everyone stays healthy and has the time of their lives.

Wonder what the most points ever scored against us at home is?

To the archives........

Dover put 55 on us at home in 2006....and I think that's the winner. Some of the early pastings we took from Wooster were not played at our current stadium.

Most points scored at home was 74 in a win over Cleveland Rhodes in 1995. We beat West Holmes 78-0 in 1968 but i dont have info on whether it was home or away.

I remember the WH game (played in it) and it was away. We won't put 77 on anybody with this coach either unless they have 76.

RRN,
Checking around was done....you tell me when it happened.

I'll even provide the reference material.

All joking aside, I will say....

Orr: 24

Brenner and Turner are two of the fastest kids in the state....and both are leapers. Good luck beating either of them deep. monheim is a top 10 LB in the state.

Not trying to be cocky, but this Orrville defense is going to be good. NW better hope for an off night for our offense (very possible) and to break some big plays. Dont see this game being a shootout.

Our D line need to be solid and be ready for NW to run it straight at us.

Nothing is certain in week 1...but i think our D keeps us in every game.
